If you cannot get the app to open/close from the app, reset your device with a full power cycle. This means turning off Sonic and removing both the batteries and switching it off from the mains power for a duration of 2 minutes.
Follow the same steps as above, but Sonic Pro isn’t necessarily mains powered, so just remove the batteries instead. For Sonic Pro, you should also power off Signal (the small plug device) for the same 2-minute period. Once both are powered back on, the issue should be resolved.
You can still use the arm lever/handle on the device itself to manually change the valve position.
