What are "Incidents"?

When Sonic detects anything unusual in your home, you will receive in-app messages/PUSH notifications. Also, the shut-off option on the main page of the App will keep flashing red until the alert has been resolved or snoozed.

On the top right of your Sonic App, there's a "bell" button where you'll find all of your active, snoozed and closed incidents. Each new incident comes in different severity levels, high/mid/low, which you can tap on to find more details about and snooze them (if you think they're not urgent or you'd like to investigate further).

You can also dismiss an alert if the issue has been resolved and re-open it when needed.

What should I do if I receive a "High" alert?

If you receive a "High" severity incident notification, we recommend that you action this as soon as possible by closing the Sonic valve and locating the source

If you can't locate the source, try turning the water back on to see if there is still a large amount of water flowing, and if there is, shut off the valve immediately and call your plumber as there may be a leak in your property.
